CEO / Founder

James Fritz

James Fritz is the founder of Reinigen Lawns. He started out by pushing his mower from house to house after his neighbors saw his outstanding work at his own property. James started Reinigen Lawns after he saw the need for a quality landscaper that put the client first. Besides seeing James on job sites you may also see him if you are ever in need as he is a active Bellmore fire fighter and EMT. His unique personality has earned James many loyal clients & friends. James also has an impressive list of skills from past jobs that include flying helicopters, acting, printing, cybersecurity and marksmanship.

Lisa Meinardus

Lisa Meinardus is someone you may already know if you called our offices before. With over 30 years of experience in customer service and account management Lisa makes sure all of our clients questions are answered in a timely manor by either her or her team. With previous experience as head of quality and training Lisa ensures that all of our team members provide the best service possible. Not only does Lisa have the knowhow but she has also lived in the Bellmore and Wantagh area for over 25 years and knows how to cater to our communities needs.

Operations Manager

Michael Lacolla

Michael Lacolla is a SUNY Farmingdale graduate with over 15 years of industry experience. Michael is responsible for ensuring that all projects exceed our clients expectations and ensures smooth day to day to operations. Michael also creates and overseas all landscape design and hardscape projects. Not only does Michael have the expertise but also provides a level of service that most clients have grown to love. Michaels's passion for the community does not stop with landscaping as he has lived in Wantagh for his whole life and is Wantagh volunteer fire fighter.

Head Arborist

James Fritz SR

James Fritz SR is the father of the owner James Fritz. James has worked in and out of the landscaping industry for over 45 years. He began his journey with his father who ran a successful landscaping company in the early 80s to the early 2000s. James is a certified arborist and Farmingdale College graduate. Besides his landscaping knowledge he is a retired NYPD sergeant of 25 years. James is also a current Merrick resident and passionate about his community. His landscaping knowledge and supervisor position in the NYPD made him a clear choice for our head arborist.

Head of Irrigation Services

Ron Coppolino

Ron Coppolino is Reinigen Lawns first ever employee. Ron's previous careers include golf course turf management for some of the most well known courses in New York and has over 20 years industry experience. Besides Ron's impressive experience he also has a degree in Turf Management. While working at golf course Ron oversaw up to 20 employees and ensured all irrigation systems were always fully functional. Ron is also a a Bellmore resident and Bellmore volunteer fire fighter and EMT.

It’s no coincidence that most of our employees grew up in the communities they service and come from community-driven backgrounds. Most of Reinigen Lawns employees are either current or retired fire fighters, EMT/Paramedics, military service members, and/or law enforcement officers. This instils an understanding that enables us to exceed our client’s expectations because of the genuine care and concern we offer that can not be achieved by anyone else.

Our Story

Reinigen lawns was birthed from a need—a gap that was still unfilled by other landscapers. James Fritz, the founder and CEO, grew frustrated by the disinterested attitudes of  landscaping companies that paid little attention to his complaints about his personal property. There was a noticeable trend of unresponsive customer care. This trend encouraged him to begin Reinigen Lawns, which would set a new standard of empathy, professionalism and attention to detail. With this vision Reingein Lawns has now grown to one of the largest landscapers in Nassau County in unprecedented amount of time.
